Blip Fest Game Boys photos by Dean Putney
Taking place this past weekend in New York, Blip Fest showcases some of the best beeps and bloops from chiptune artists across the globe. Dean got a few pictures of some of the performers’ main weapon of choice: modded Game Boys customized with ProSound and running Korg software, but unfortunately replacing the vintage green on green on green screens (most of these are backlit so the performers can actually see what they’re doing while on stage).
